ReplyDeleteNigeria will always get such clueless decision taken when we elect mumu into office. Nigeria police now interpret the law for national assembly members
ReplyDeleteServes tambuwal right, u can't work in setraco and expect salary from Julius berger
ReplyDeleteWhat you r saying makes no sense. So what about those dat left APC for PDP? Only in naija can dis happen.
DeleteIs he not a government official? Isn't he entitled to a police detail?! Hmmm our dirty politics.
ReplyDeleteThat's Gej hand work for you.
Delete⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥♡thanks ⌣̊┈̥-̶̯͡»̶̥
Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.
ReplyDeleteGood for him
ReplyDeleteHe lacks dignity & integrity...
Self interest & self centred man
BORN TO SHINE!!!
Power doesn't corrupt people, people corrupt power.
ReplyDeleteCan somebody let our president know this is a Democratic government and not his personal property? Political bullying
ReplyDeleteWell said young man. Your older unintelligent traducers won't compliment u now. Classic case of; when I'm right, no one remembers, when I'm wrong, no one forgets.
DeleteWhat a country..... Why didn't u withdraw the security detail of Gov. Mimiko?
ReplyDeleteWhen is GEJ resigning for his nxt yr's presidential ambition? oh!congrats Tambuwal. Now you're amaechi2 of the north.lol
ReplyDeleteThat does not affect the decreased price of peruvian @ all..myimu!
ReplyDeletePolitics, politics, politics.
ReplyDeletePower does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power. the shoeless man now wore an iron shoe........
ReplyDeleteNice comment
DeleteWhat a comment. Please Linda this guy must be included in your 20K Promo.
DeleteNo sentiments.
Na wah o...what happened to Freedom of Association? SMH for naija.
ReplyDeletePower tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

ReplyDeleteFaceoflib
And the drama begins.
ReplyDeleteGreedy human begins we have as politicians in dese country, dey can't just tank u Lord, am grateful 4 de much I have, dey keep wanting more nd more, nd in de quest to get dat more money and power, de become desperate, inpatient, runaround 4rm one party to anoda, above all, lie a lot. Wish him well in his desperation.
ReplyDeleteGovernments that block the aspirations of their people, that steal or are corrupt, that oppress and torture or that deny freedom of expression and human rights should bear in mind that they will find it increasingly hard to escape the judgement of their own people
ReplyDeletena so. wot of those that left APC to PDP? where they stripped off too? just passing sha
ReplyDeleteUnlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who posses it; and this I know, my lords: that where law ends, tyranny begins.
ReplyDeletethats Naija politics for you!
ReplyDelete#GodblessNigeria
here we go! look, he is still the speak and the No.4 man in the country, I don't know what the constitution say exactly but as the speaker he should be protected. mtchew..
ReplyDeleteThe list of lawlessness from this half baked PHD holder just keeps growing. The illegal removal of Justice Salami, the illegal removal of CBN Governor turned Emir of kano, the illegal detention of APC supporters before the governorship elections in Anambra, Ekiti and Osun States, the illegal sealing of the offices of a splinter group within the pdp (new pdp), the aiding of oil theft and public looting of our national resources. We have seen this type of power drunkenness before, and we remember how they all ended. Babangida and Obasanjo are still alive to attest to the fact that power is transit and what goes around, comes around.
ReplyDeleteHahaha no bi small thing ooo...this people self scheisse...waiting for the party 3 lol
ReplyDeleteLinda grow some balls, GEJ withdraws Tambuwal's security details not police, say things as they are, you too dey fear
ReplyDeleteWhen he said that he wiii join apc to sweep pdp away come 2o15,pdp that make him a speaker what dose he espect, this same apc that he said is not good when he was whit pdp, widrawing police from him is not enough.
ReplyDeleteAre they planning to give easy access for assassination?
ReplyDeleteGood for him
ReplyDeleteWhen scrutiny is lacking, tyranny, corruption and man's baser qualities have a better chance of entering into any government.
ReplyDeleteSo this man no longer deserve security because he changed from PDP to APC? Na wa for Nigeria...Make una just da Amend Constitution anyhow...
ReplyDeleteokay now
ReplyDeleteThere is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law and in the name of justice.
ReplyDeleteConstitution is always applicable wen it's dem dats involved...wen it police and d common man, its bcomes d other way round...
ReplyDeleteShame on you.have you also withdrawn the security details for gov segun mimiko who defected to the pdp?have you withdrawn that of all the house of rep members that defected from other parties to the pdp?I'm a card carrying member of the pdp but this is by far the most shameful of our actions as the ruling party.
ReplyDeleteshame on you president Jonathan and your advisers.
When scrutiny is lacking, tyranny, corruption and man's baser qualities have a better chance of entering into any government.GEJ has lost it ..................and the king run naked

ReplyDeleteis it the duty of the police to determine the legality of his defection or the courts.
ReplyDeleteOga police go and arrest tompolo who is threatening to kill keyamo
Oh come on.in view of ALL the other pressing security issues in Nigeria, you guys are jobless enough to make this your business right.this is sooooo petty and I'm embarrassed beyond words to call you the Nigerian police.
ReplyDeleteSo the Police is also saddled with the responsibility of interpreting the law....
ReplyDeleteWell done
PDP in action
ReplyDeleteI am Coonett
ReplyDeleteIf this is true, then this is very shameful
My brother u beta retain dat sit as a speaker but as contest as d president no way 4 u my man
ReplyDeleteCome, isn't he a Nigerian?
ReplyDeleteGOOD...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm ... 9ija people I hail oooo.
ReplyDeleteJona easy oooo, must everybody belong to your party. We are in a Democratic government keep that in mind. Rozay talking
ReplyDeleteI thought the police are to enforce the law, when did they become interpreter interpreting the constitutions. Majority of this our politicians lacks integrity. when other parties were defecting to PDP it was ok now its not normal. God bless Nigeria
ReplyDeletepolitics is fun!
ReplyDeleteJonathan is trekking on a shaky ground. They should withdraw security details attached to Mimiko too. PDP is evil and I hope we Nigerians can say no to PDP during next year election. Let's begin the campaign now, both home and abroad, we are tired of this Jonathan administration. What is his fear?
ReplyDeleteAPC would have done worse jare. Next time he'll learn not to talk while eating.
ReplyDeletehere we go again, power corrupt power, absolute power corrupt absolutely, until we have politicians that has political ideology and know when to place national interest above party and personal self interest, this will be the same type of charade of shameful act will shall continue to witness... make unah no worry Gods will is the final of all this show of shame.
ReplyDeletewhen olusegun mimiko defected from labour party (LP) to PDP, its was legal and correct, in fact he was celebrated, his security was even beefed up ans still ondo state governor, but tambuwal defect frm PDP to APC, it has become a big offence...abeg my people, was this law or constitution not in existence during mimiko defect? hmmmm its well o.
ReplyDeleteabeg what does our constitution says about freedom of association.
ReplyDeleteVery wrong move AWT.
ReplyDeleteI just checked the Constitution, they are actually right.
ReplyDeleteOF ALL THE LAWS IN THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION SO THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THE NIGERIAN POLICE CAN ENFORCE, WHAT A SHAMEFUL AND DISGRACEFUL ACT WE ARE WATCHING YOU ALL #DEALERS WHO PARADE THEMSELVES LEADERS
ReplyDeleteHe is no longer speaker !!
ReplyDeleteSo the benefits he enjoys as a speaker is withdrwn from him..
He is now an ordinary member !!
Abi una no see constitution??
Shey na GEJ write the constitution ?
I have said it before and i Will say it again and again, Jonathan would be remembered as naija worst president, well the end shall justify the means.
ReplyDeleteYou lied! Your do-or-die uncle Obj did worst and great evil at that.
DeleteIn principle, he's no more the Speaker...
ReplyDeleteDon't know who's still indulging him!!!!
Well that is the first step to pulling the seat from under him!!!!!
Jonathan will lose next year election.
ReplyDeleteNoncence when did the police start interpreting the constitution
ReplyDeleteThe police simply acted on orders from the presidency - not that Tambuwal flouted any constitution. That's the truth. GEJ and PDP are very desperate.
ReplyDeletei want to be sure of something, is it possible to defect from a party and still occupy same position under the platform of another party?
ReplyDeleteSo pdp own nigeria now.whenever it comes to their end it is right but when it is the other way round it is wrong.pdp is not a good party.they are not practising democracy at all.may God help us in this country.
ReplyDeletePolice we are waiting for you to withdraw the security detail of Mimiko (Ondo Governor who defected for Labour to PDP), Peter Obi (former Governor of Anambra who defected from APGA to PDP).... clueless folks. To protect lives and property, you will hardly find the police championing that but abuse of power and bum bum kissing of the president is their forte...

To protect lives and property, you will hardly find the police championing that but abuse of power and bum bum kissing of the president is their forte...
ReplyDeleteWhen did the police start to police people's political affiliation..it is an embarrassment for us as Nigerians to see how our police has been turned to the military wing of PDP.why not withdraw Ondo governors security detail for defecting to PDP.....the Nigerian police is a shame and this president has sure run the country to the ground...you either in my Conner or I come for you...now that's a fucked up message to the world
ReplyDeleteIsnt it funny that the same Nigerian Police that insisted they needed a court order before they could put down a dog that attacked a 4year old boy have now unilaterally interpreted the constitution without recourse to a law court? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteIsnt it funny that the same Nigerian Police that insisted they needed a court order before they could put down a dog that attacked a 4year old boy have now unilaterally interpreted the constitution without recourse to a law court? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI love that, he tink say he get sense pass d hand wey d feedam?? If he no likam like dat, he shud go 2 court.
ReplyDeleteIt serves him right.
ReplyDeletePeople should learn speak with facts and not sentiments .......am sure 99% percent of pple here have not checked up what section 68(g) of the Nigerian constitution says........please pple it will do us all good to go back n read what that section says ...maybe we all will be more informed on our opinion on this issue ..... don't be quick to comment bc u think u can say anything .....
ReplyDeleteNah not in support of the withdrawal of security men. It is wrong and simply abuse of power. Anyway Tambuwal wasn't loyal so he is just having a taste of the soup. (politics is a dirty violent game)
ReplyDeletearrant nonsense|
ReplyDeleteStupid leadership of a stupid country, so it is the police force that now interpretes the constitution or determines if the action of the Number 4 citizen of the country is wrong and not the courts of law?, this is vey amusing, when Mimiko joined PDP it wasn't a problem, when Senators Joshua Dariye, Chris Anyanwu and co joined PDP from Labour Party and APGA, there was no noise, nobody threatened to declare their seats vacant nor was there any crisis on the floor of the Senate but the moment someone lives PDP, crisis ensues. Intolerant, petty, incompetent, dour, drab, colourless and silly leadership. instead of pretending like nothing happened, they are running up and down like headless chickens, the worst you can do is withdraw his security you cant remove him from office as you lack the required numbers. Mumu people, Boko Haram is on rampage without control, Kidnappers are busy collecting ransom our leaders are in Abuja doing nothing. Tompolo, Boyloaf, Ateke etc have scores of policemen attached to them, even Pastor Orisejafor but the Speaker's security were withdrawn because he changed party? I dey laugh
ReplyDelete@ anon 5:39, my dear same question I asked, nobody asked Mimiko resign or even removed his security details when he defected to PDP. Shame on FG.
DeletePdp should take it easy
ReplyDeleteHe said he left PDP because it is being ruled by cabal. So APC is being led by what. From frying pan to fire. It is not today we have seen things like this. From Na abah to Masari and now Tam buwal
ReplyDeleteF..k y'all Nigerian political drama, dey only know Der selfs Friends and familys dats why dey fight to get a biger position..Clueclus fools!!!
ReplyDeleteGej is a dictator in a civilians niger delta ensemble. He Can't take rejection. Many of you don't know the real story of how tambuwal got to be speaker in the first place. He had ACNs backing so shut up if you're not informed.
ReplyDeleteThe people removing security have forgotten that they're dealing with an intelligent lawyer.
ReplyDeleteThe music starts. Typical of nigerians you want to eat your cake and have it. Tambuwal should please resign.
ReplyDeleteJonathan has gone gaga. It's a shame.
ReplyDeleteIt is so shameful that people rush to comment on every issues now.it is crystal clear that he is no longer the speaker.he became a speaker under PDP bcos they were in majority in the house.now that he has defected to a minority party,do the fools we have here expect him to still be the speaker?will that not be worse off on the constitution?the fact that linda has given us a platform to comment on issues is not enough to make statements you won't be proud of in a year's time.it is time linda starts screening unintelligent comments.tambuwal or drumbuwal, you seized to be relevant from the day u defected.
ReplyDeleteTake it or leave Tambuwal is a smart, intelligent and charismatic politician with sagacity. He is poised to become the next Governor of Sokoto State and by them you will he will have his security again. His political mentor, Alhaji Magatakarda Wamakko is well loves in Sokoto, he is mass mobilizer with huge grassroots support that why PDP had to go and beg him to join them and yanked b the gubernatorial ticket from Shagari and gave him, that is why PDP sent a powerful delegation lead by that old fox Tony Anenih to beg him to return to PDP last week but he turned them down. You can't fight what God has ordained by God's grace we shall kick Jonathan out of that Presidential villa. Don't know how we came to this sorry pass. Stupid OBJ in his desperate bid to control the Presidency from Ota imposed this kinda spinless leadership on us. But we have had enough of PDP's failures. Even BlackBerry fails you try Samsung, if MTN fails you try Etisalat, if Omo fails you try Ariel. It is quite simple
ReplyDeleteThe constitution is there to guide us.it is for d interest of d country in dis democratic dispensation.Stop hating.
ReplyDeleteI am a lawyer and we all must uphold d law
it just unfortunately for all this political play,i now realize how this country was run as if it was own by individual, was the police a property of PDP was it not own by the people of Nigerian, what is the concern of police with political party.i taught there work is to control and maintain law and order, come to talk about Tambuwal remove is total rubbish because it was not them that voted him to be come speak by law is only the member of the house that can remove him, when people join PDP there is not threaten but when people move from PDP to another there we be noise all over the places, where is the freedom of association,Jonathan should stop all this bad attitude
ReplyDeleteResult of politics without ideology in Naija. Politicians just float around, no direction, no enlightened citizens to check them. And I say to Tambuwal 'to whom so much is given. . .' You showed no character or leadership by this heating up of the polity. Boko Haram no heat reach? Personally, u no longer my speaker. Haba!
ReplyDeleteIt is now a cliché, that the Muslims (especially of Northern extraction) are hell-bent on taking over the Centre from the Christians. I think it would have been more Honourable for Tambuwal to first of all resign – deflect - re-contest, and then if he wins, under his new Platform?? He would have given more credence to his reason for leaving the PDP (being the call by his people in Sokoto) and probably clear doubters and cynics lurking in the corner. But I think Lord Lugards Idea of a United Nigeria was Devilish (and must someday) be readdressed.
ReplyDeleteShut d fuck off, what as religion got to do with dis? GEJ must go in 2015
