Erm, has governor Fayose returned his official vintage car to the museum?

I don't know how true this is but a prominent Ekiti indigene named Prince Adepoju Jacobs claims this is so. He's making all sorts of accusations on his Facebook page but I just cropped out the part where he said the car has been returned to the museum. (See below) What museum though?

He also shared a photo of what he claims is the governor's mansion in Banana Island in Ikoyi, Lagos.

That he owns a vintage car, doesn't mean he shouldn't own a new car as a governor or will he be travelling from ekiti state to other states with that old vintage car?? Prince or whatever name you are called, you and your apc cohorts should let fayose be. You tried using the court to steal his mandate but you failed. You all should take a chill pill

  36. LINDA I DON'T post comment here but i will hide my identity because am a bit known around EKITI. I Swear not to take side . Here i Go. To My knowledge the newly elected Governor Ayodele Peter Fayose might actually borrow that old mercedez Benz for his swearing in but no Governor would want to use that kind of car as official Car,How fast can that car run? Secondly Fayose and his family live and stay in Magodo Estate Phase II, He has no damn house in BANNA island that am sure and i know. BUt in the case of the (2014 Black Range rover Brand New)..I know that can very very well and i can provide a pciture of that car if am chance ... That car is been giving to AYODELE PETER FAYOSE from the incumbent Governor Fayemi Immediately after he won the ELECTION as a Governor. From a Reliable source THE NEWLY elected Governor had to hire security people to be sure if that car is not wire and did a prayer before the USE of that CAR ... So this idiot Talking must be a Big fool... and more over which RANGE rover cost 43MILLION?

  47. Funny though. Building his desired home should be no body problem. Especially, if the resources used are genuine. As for the vintage car, only time will tell if it has been returned or its a mere political backlash on his political personality. I think any official vehicle be it a vintage Mercedes Benz or Range rover. Security needs to be the utmost priority on the desired choice.

  63. Ayo Fayose, the incumbent governor of Ekiti State should desist from making disparaging statement against his immediate predecessor, whatever stone you throw at him now, remember you are leaving that position someday, a much bigger stone would be thrown at you, my advise for you is to desist from chattering about and face the real business of good governance, the reason for which the people of Ekiti elected you. Whether you agree with me or not your predecessor in office has left a big shoe for you to step in, it now depends on you to choose either to surpass his laudable achivements or not, remember Ekiti people are watching and of course the entire people of Nigeria to see if you will live up to expectations as far as your campaign promises are concerned.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Who cares! Gov Fayose should please face the work he is there for; take the state to a greater height and he should stop generating all this unnecessary dust that has nothing to do with good governance and positive impact on the lives of the people.

  68. I know some of these APC (Alqueda Peoples Congress) were hoping that the Governor will use the vintage Mercedes.
But the Governor would be stupid to not take his personal security lightly.

Fashola has a retinue of bullet proof cars/suvs/trucks. I guess Fayose should not have one because only APC should be allowed to have bullet proof trucks.

Nigeria is a dangerous place. Not everyone likes you. Joke with your security and your frenemies will be dancing and crying and your funeral.
