If it is smelly, itchy, go and see a gynaecologist/doctor and ask for advice, otherwise all you need is water and a mild soap to cleanse the outer area of it. leave the inside to do what it does best on its own or you run the risk of totally messing up yourself as the ph balance can be affected and then there will really be problems.
