Nigerian parents Comfort and Emmanuel Adugbe hold daughters, Peace and Patience, recently separated 8-month old conjoined twins, at a press meet in Bangalore on July 14, 2010. Peace and Patience were operated last month by a team of 24 medical personnel in India. The twins, who were joined at the abdomen, sharing liver and intestine, and are called omphalopagus, are set to fly home to Nigeria.

ReplyDeleteThank God. What lovely children. I can't wait for such operations to be carried out in Nigeria instead of people having to travel to India to get surgeries done.
