INEC continues with Dino Melaye’s recall process despite court ruling, paste notice for verification exercise (photo)

Despite the restraining order issued by Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court Abuja, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, Monday, went ahead with the recall process of Senator Dino Melaye.
Earlier in the day, a notice for the verification exercise for the eligible voters in Kogi West Senatorial district was pasted at the INEC office in Lokoja, the state capital.

Dino has alleged that his recall process is politically motivated and is being sponsored by the state governor, Yahaya Bello

Why is it that court orders are not respected by this APC government? Is it truely a democracy we are operating in this country? Do we scrap the courts if they are of no use?

Fellow youths the court never gave an order stopping INEC. Court gave a ruling that the status quo be maintained meaning Dino continue as a senator and INEC continue with the recall work you are doing till further notice. The question is what is the status quo? The status quo is/was the state of things before they came to court.
