Photos: Man paraded naked in Akwa Ibom for stealing cassava tubers
Youths in a remote community in Akwa Ibom state stripped and paraded a man naked for allegedly stealing cassava tubers. As further punishment, he was forced to eat the raw cassava tubers. If they know what their politicians and some civil servants stole from them they would leave this guy alone
This is akin to a crime of survival. But poor people no dey pity each other, while rich people dey always cover up for each other. A poorman will deal with his fellow poorman with utmost harshness while a richman will look for a way to compromise and settle amicably with his fellow richman, if posible and they will laugh over it. This is one of the reasons why the rich continue to thrive and the poor continue to wallow in poverty.
God is a Good God.It is better to know the real problem than chasing shadows, he needed to eat, if there was food will he go and steal? i am not justifying his deeds, but understand if Nigerian dont wake up and fight the real thieves it will still continue, there are thieves that are richer than the Nation's wealth, go fight those ones.
And your senator will come who has stolen billions from you and you will all hail him. Mad set of people. you praise and welcome ibori and you all are parading a yam thief. Not that i support stealing, or taking what doesn't belong to you. we are all cowards in this Nigeria.
