Sad to watch! Tearful Nigerian bride refuses to kiss groom on wedding day

A video has surfaced of a Nigerian bride vehemently objecting to being kissed by her groom. In the footage, the bride can be seen looking glum while the wedding guests encouraged them to kiss. At some point, the best man had to spray some money on her yet she refused and started to cry as the husband held her and tried to kiss her.

The groom eventually kissed her forcefully while she cried and pushed him away. According to comments on social media, the bride is from Abia state. See the video below...

  1. Was she forced into the marriage by her parents? There must be a reason she refused to kiss the groom.

    2. This type of women end up dealing with the man. Controlling him and his family especially his mother. She won't even allow her sit in their sitting room or eat on their dining table. Why do men do this to themselves?

  4. Is this a movie? Or was she forced?
If this is real life, it is a time bomb waiting to explode. They need prayers oh, if they had already been joined together. I don't see love here at all. Tomorrow now, the man will be crying 'cheating' 'cheating' like Lanre Gentry. Or philosophising on social media like Ubi Franklin.

  7. Pls dont blame the lady. she might be a local breed who was not known for that kind of
practice. You know my brothers like to go to the village for marriage after messing up the Lagos girls.

  9. If she's not interested she won't back off now. Tomorrow she will now come up with a story that hurts. And I will end up wasting my sympathy on her.

  14. This is what happens when one is vehemently coerced & threatened to Mary someone she doesn't even like at all let alone love!

Some Igbo families are very good at such act! I've seen it happened.

  17. What kind of marriage ceremony is this? Why do people subject ourselves to this kind of caricature of ceremony. You can see clearly that the woman is compelled by her people to marry this man against her will. Even though the go ahead, there is basis for annulment. The lady married without full consent or hesitated.

  29. WTF! She looked like a lamb about to be slaughtered on a day that is supposed to be the happiest in a woman's life. The guy eventually stole a kiss because the best-man's sprayed cash helped a little bit.

Nor be by force to marry!

  31. This is nothing less than a forced marriage

  32. Oh my goodness! Is this marriage not already doomed to fail? Why marry him if you don't love him? Why marry a woman who doesn't love you? Why is the 'Man of God' asking them to kiss before he joins them? It is all so strange. No woman should be so unhappy on the day that is supposed to give her joy. Haba!

  46. All of you are just saying rubbish. The girl is simply shy and naive. She probably may not have done that before in public. I think the husband knows too, that's why they took it easy with her. i am speaking from experience.
