An alleged armed robber was lynched at Änike Apena Street in Ikeja this morning. He and another accomplice allegedly tried to rob people of their valuables when he was caught. The second robber escaped. In Lagos, mobs still take the laws into their
hands to mete out jungle justice to suspected criminals. See the photos after the cut...

ReplyDeleteMaybe cos of the experience that happened to my husband with these armed robbers I just have a different outlook on jungle justice. I must say I prefer the jungle justice only when caught red-handed. Even kill them off if necessary as this would be a warning/ wake up call to others planning to do such things. So the guy in this pic if he was caught red-handed stealing serves him bloody right.
ReplyDeleteThey shld tink twice bf goin to steal.
ReplyDeleteHe was caught at Ikeja under the bridge some months ago by police after operating At Balogun, and was arrested not quite long he was released by the police and yet went back to the same old shit.... Now his end has come....

When are we going to start meted this type of punishment to our politicians? What they are doing is more grievous than what this guy did. Am not in support of what the guy did, but our politicians deserve this type of death.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous, truly he was shot by a Customs Officer, but it was not because he stole ONLY a laptop, he's been doing this for a while and is jungle justice the next option?

ReplyDeleteHe s dead
ReplyDeleteHMmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteHe deserves to be punished, not killed. What did he steal compared to what our so-called leaders loot daily. In Nigeria we can like to channel our energy wrongly. God help us.
