  45. The weather in Nigeria is too hot. Its Friday. Dress down day. Governor Ayo Fayose was perfectly dressed. He's not dressed as a thug or tout. lol. People need to relax. It was probably an informal meeting.

Maybe the traditional chief should be fined a few kegs of palm wine, whiskey, marihuana, kola nuts and white fowl. He's over dressed for Nigerian hot weather. He looks like he's wearing a duvet. I'm surprised he's not sweating. Maybe his agbada is air-conditioned. lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. I don't see anything wrong, as I guess he would have still given the Oba his due honour whether in shorts or not.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Must he wear agbada bcos he wants to go visit a traditional ruler? Abegi me like ma governor like dat. He wore what he feels is comfortable for him

  57. Keep doing you papi Fayose. You are a man of the people indeed. You have related to the lowest of the lowest in your state and rubbed shoulders with the high and mighty. And oddly people fail to realize that is what a lot of states are lacking. The governors are far off in their ammo protected vehicles calling shots and sometimes spending lavishly. This guy has managed to touch the heart of almost every "everyday" man. You fools on here can call him names all you want, he no send you. Bastard talkative Nigerians. Linda post o I am angry today

    ReplyDelete
  58. there's nothing wrong with his outfit. how do we know it was an.official visit. look.., its not okay to sit n.just judge people. have any idea the relationship btw them??? nope. what if he was in a different mission n had to make a quick stop, so he should go back home n change because he wants to see a royal father. sure my dad won't disapprove of this outfit.

    ReplyDelete
  59. This ain't bad na.... do you have to wear agbada to see a king?

    ReplyDelete
  60. It is not as bad as wearing a crown to a higher Oba's palace.

Yes doesn't make sense but its custom, it only makes sense for those practicing it. Like when people wonder why igbo girl's bride price is soooo high.

    PERSPECTIVE!!!!
