Nigeria's U-17 men's football team progress

The Golden Eaglets proved their loss to Croatia was just a minor setback in a major operation as they beat Australia 6-0 in the round of sixteen to progress to the tournament quarter final. Victor Osimhen bagged a hat trick to lead the scorer's chart with seven goals

If they are under 17. Then I'm under 8. Foolishness. Why wouldn't they win 6-0.

This guys are doing wella oo. Ehn seriously... Hope they keep it up. Kudos

I still have my doubt about them though. They still have to have more possession of the ball. Against Australia, it was like 50-50. Against the almighty Brazil will prove if they are serious contender to retain the cup. Go Golden Eaglet and fly. It can't be a one man team. Only the number 9 scoring all the goals. If something happens to him, what would be left of the team? But the good Tiding is that a New Yekini is born in the player of Osimhen

These ones should be celebrated not the others
~D great anonymous!

If we still believe in these travesty called U17 then we are on the wrong road to success in football. The so called U17 has been our most successful side for the past 20 yrs just because we cheat to win. If the foundation of a building is bad the so called building wont stand the test of time . Tunde Adeniji of Sunshine stars is 20 ,Prince Aggrey of Sunshine stars is in his early 20's . Are we now saying this so called players are older than the u17 boys with 4 years.
Our football has failed and still going to fail if we dont go back to secondary schools and pick U17 players from there. If these boys drop out in the group stage ,they drop out with a whole lot of experience in hand. They are going to be ready for the next hurdle and before we know we are promoting these boys to the senior team .

Endless examples ,Chrisantus was also 17,Okoro was also U17 .

Lets go back to the grassroot and get boys from Principals Cup and other Grassroot competitions,Secondary School Programs . We can now say we are on the road to redemption in our football

the best is yet to come.
that is why i prefer oyinbo to some black people they dont just make comment for the sake of cheap popularity-ka ri mi-.
some people here are just spitting rubbish about the age based on the above picture.this is a completely different picture as against the under-17 super eaglets

Sometimes i wonder if it's really Linda's handwork here. Unless i'm mistaken, the players here aren't really d Eaglets. Y do i say this? The player on jersey number 3 is Elderson Echiejile, the one on jersey number 6 is Efe Ambrose while the middle player amongst the squatters is Brown Ideye. Abeg if i'm wrong make person tell me. Up Eaglets.
