Photo: Empty 'accused box' in the CCT court room this morning

Photo above shows an empty accused box in the Code of Conduct Tribunal without Senate President Bukola Saraki during the first day of his trial over false declaration of assets. According to reports, counsel to the Federal government, MS Hassan, asked the court to compel Saraki to appear before the court and also requested that he be arrested and brought to court. 38. NO MATTER HOW LONG A THIEVE RAN INTO HIDING THE DAY HE IS FOUND HE SHOULD FACE THE LAW. SARAKI WAS PDP AS A GOVERNOR WHO CAN TOUCH HIM THEN. NOW HE IS APC THEY HAVE NO TOLERANCE OF ANY KIND OF FRAUD. LET HIM COME AND CLEAR HIS NAME AND SHAME HIS SO CALLED ENEMIES. REMEMBER WHEN BUHARI ADVISED THOSE RUNNING TO JOIN APC TO SLOW DOWN AS APC CANNOT COVER THEIR BAD DEEDS

  41. Royal. Have you asked yourself what he is trying to hide?
Why try to block organisations such as the police etc from doing their duties?
if he is that innocent, he has nothing to fear than fear itself

  42. This royal sha, who are the enemies and what is the progress? In every civilized world, when u are summoned to court u appear, no matter who u are. If ur hands are clean u go and proove it, no one is above the law my dear. Era of lawlessness is gone, wake up.
