President Buhari was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Finance, Mrs Anastasia Nwaobia ...
"We are at the threshold of history where we must collectively take the destiny of the nation in our hands. As Nigerians, no one can love Nigeria like you and me. On our part, we will continue to lead by example, making efforts to live above board. As we strive to walk or talk,we will carry to its logical conclusions our initiative to overhaul the bureaucracy of the public sector in an effort to engender transparency and improve productivity in public governance. I assure you that persons found wanting will not be spared. As blessed as we are as a nation, Nigerians have no business being classified as poor. Yet, through the greed of some unpatriotic few, our commonwealth has been badly pillaged in the name of public service. Our ability as a nation to create wealth has increasingly been hampered by lack of prudence, transparency and honesty in the management of public resources by some of those entrusted with the duty of governance at all levels. This should not be allowed to continue. The nation ought and must leave the throes of poverty and underdevelopment. I do believe that as a people, we are naturally destined for greatness,” he said.
All good and nice...

ReplyDeleteWho so ever that thinks Buhari should not continue his good work in his present,By the grace of God he will do it in his absence.so shall it be in Jesus name
ReplyDeleteSo ministers will now serve as watchdogs on their boss incase he steals. As if Jonathan did not steal money when he had a world bank expatriate as a finance minster.
ReplyDeleteFor sycophants and politically myopic nuisance like u r, my advice for u is to get a good dictionary that has all words in it and start looking for suitable words to use when commenting because u have a long way to go. U gonna continue shouting for four years.
Im a southerner. i dont care if he is an extremist. we need anyone to take us to the promise land. I would vote a white man as president of nigeria if it meant we could be like dubai
ReplyDeleteAbegi, make we hear something else. Kwaraption this, kwaraption dat, kwaraption all day and year long nnah een pipo go hear? How about tangible efforts at restoring the value of the naira, unemployment, bad roads, security challenges that beset Naijas on a daily basis? QED@atm
ReplyDeleteBuhari talk less and do more, haba all in a bid to show u r a born again democrat u ve being overyarning.U r a rtd Gen for Christ sake, speak less and do more, no retired military of African extraction who ruled from d 60's up till d 90's can expunge or purge his or herself of military attitude purely so Buhari pls and pls speak less and do more u ve given d corrupt thieves so much time to hide their loot
ReplyDeleteBla bla bla bla bla.
ReplyDeleteMONUMENTAL RUBBISH.
ReplyDeleteStop deceiving us PMB.. Over 100 days in d office no show. Only God knows were u have been parking our money. U were d patroleum minister during d Abacha's regime d most brutal dictator dat ever rule Nigeria. Wen ABACHA was looting, was he just watching or was he involved ? All dis noise is just 4 him to divert our mind to fight against corruption. Me I no wat his up to, bt God is greater n powerful than him.
ReplyDeleteIf one corrupt person takes what belongs to millions, it's an evil sin that is fit for the insane. It is better to sentence one corrupt person to death than sentence millions to poverty, penury and eventually to death.PMB, all God fearing people are urging you to 'Go-ahead' and always stay focused!
ReplyDeleteCorruption includes marginalization of some a section of a country.
ReplyDeleteBuhari start with yourself. Declare your assets, share the nations appointments evenly and with federal character. Saint Buhari, "holier than thou". Your case will be worse than Abacha.
Abeg enough old man talk is cheap, walk ur talk alrdy, provide action or hushhhhhhh

ReplyDeleteWell said,
ReplyDeleteSorry to ask .'Is it only corruption news that we can hear now? shit happens'!
ReplyDeleteThe charges brought against the corrupt officials is either dismissed based of self recognition or found not guilty. GMB need to input another strategy towards fighting corruption.
ReplyDeleteCorruption is clearly a problem in Nigeria. PMB is fighting corruption but ignoring the main issues that we have. These are lack of employment for youths, security, bad roads, the devaluation of the naira against the dollar and many others. I have a few questions how does lifting the ban on the importation of cars help the nigerian economy?, how does selecting politicians from only the south and the north improve nigeria?. He promised that he will be a president for everybody but turns around to say that only those that voted for him should expect good things from him. If that is the case let nigerians divide and let the notherners go and chop onion seeing as he has only decided to share power with only the north and south.
