Her name is Kanya Woodard and according to the story, she was attacked and badly beaten by her 28 year old boyfriend, who is an unknown Chicago rapper. The girl reportedly ran away from home to live with the guy and this happened to her. See more after the cut...

    I'm disgusted by some of your comments! Some of you are ignorant fools! First of all he lied and said he was 19. Yes there are 18 and 19 years olds with their own place. He said he as 19 and she believed him. How was she supposed to know that he was 28? As far as her running away, um teens do it all the time. And you don't know what went on with her parents behind closed doors. Some of you are saying she deserved it. How would you like it if someone did this to your daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, or god sister? Would you be saying she deserved it if she was related to you? Men do lie about their age and then things like this happen. Women lie about their age too. She didn't know he was 28. What happened to Kanya is unacceptable. I pray that she get justice. I hope this man gets placed in general population in prison so that the prisoners can beat him like he did her. And as far as parents being involved. Um how was they supposed to know that her so called 19 year old boyfriend was really 28? And yest 15 year old girls do have boyfriends. I had a boyfriend when I was 15 years old. I was 15 and my boyfriend was 16 and guess what we were both honor students and involved in positive activities. And we were supervised heavily by our parents. People do date at 15 and 16. As long as the boy is her age or a year older I don't see the problem with dating. Some of you all act like you didn't date until you was 18 but we all know that's a lie.
