Yay! Dilapidated signage has been removed by Lagos state Govt (photos)

Earlier today, I posted a photo of a dilapidated/collapsed signage on the Ijora Causeway, which was sent to me by a LIB reader (read here). Well, a few hours later, the Lagos State govt has done something about it. They have promptly removed the collapsing directional gantry which posed a risk to motorists. Just received photos of what it looks like now. See more photos after the cut...

The one I posted earlier

  41. That sign, is meant to direct motorist, Please also, remind the government to replace it with Luminous sign, so motorist will not have to drive round the bridge looking for exit or how to connect to their destination.....Chukwugozie gi

  48. @Royal priesthood. Yes. The governor of Lagos state should read newspapers and blogs because that is part of the ways he would know about the wrongs in the society and correct as best possible as the governor of the state.
I am completely impressed with APC ruler-ship of Lagos state. if these standards continue, Lagos state will non arguably be one of the best mega cities in d world. i am not being political. I'm just factual. let opposition leaders learn. All Nigerians want is good leadership. Consequently, Lagos state leadership under the APC is giving it. SHIKENNA!!!
