Not all those phoney-from-nose fake radio personalities, wt 3 accents rolled into one, stuttering all d time, using 3mins to describe a sentence, and infusing every 3rd word wt "like", "as in", "erhmmm".

  16. Libers I know some of you don't like reading. I do not blame you at all
DSTV has kuku eroded our reading culture and E channel, Sporting channels, Africa Magic and Sound city  and even the Kardashian clan has succeeded in  stealing  our mental development as we stare like zombies into diverse inches of TV screens .  "what does one has to benefit from reading anyway? Reading is hard and boring". So u say out of laziness to try. Or sometimes u yawn lazily " I am a scientist /accountant I do not need to read a book had rather stay glued to my TV watch Tinsel, the Big Bang Theory, or even re-watch my Taraji 's Empire at my spare time. ‎Are u fucking kidding me? Reading is not about passing exam it's about learning about life. So pls step out, grab " On The Bank Of Rivers" and many other books by African writers and read. Many of u don  kuku get lost into oyinbo life. You speak English, dress English, Dance English and to make matter worse some dey form English. Abeg who you dey deceive  even when u never step Muritala Mohammed Airport. Let alone travel out. Many African writers has written about who and what we are, what we pass through and how we can be proud of who and whom we are Africans. Pls read Mills and Booms, James Hadley Chase, Jeffery Archer, John Grisham but less of the and delve more into books of writer like Adeniyi Ifeoluwa. Sade Adeniran, Chika Unigwe, Chimamanda Adichie, Sarah Manyika Ladipo and Doreen Baingana et al (fourth generation writers)

  20. Finally! I can put a face to the name! Ms Ifeoluwapo Adeniyi of Splash FM in Ibadan is one of the few cerebral OAPs in the State! I am always in awe at her diction & command of the English language. I just love the sound of her lovely voice on the radio. I wish you success on this new chosen and laudable path. If you get to read this, know that you have a lot of fans that are rooting for you in your corner. PS: oh,yes. I will get the book too! I know it will be a good read!
