That is the spirit of a true Nigerian. I am sure my able Governor will definitely do something to encourage these guys. I do not mean financially but at least these people must be encourage. It takes courage to be courageous. Eko Oni Baje o o o ... Obaje Ti!!!!
These guys deserve state recognition or some form of reward for their efforts. It could have been worse without their intervention. Govt can do something to enhance their fishing profession
Other Nations use divers and other rescue teams that are formed for such occurrences. Our dear country, Lagos for that matter used fishermen for rescue mission when no provision or plan in place-what a pity!!! I hope we will get there one day.
Who told u we don't have such in Nigeria, dumb thinker, they made use of wot they have at the time of the crash, if they waited for rescue team like u suggested, na only dead body dem go rescue
Bro or sis anonymous.... If she didn't go she wouldn't think of setting up a blog where you gonna read news thereby dropping silly comment of yours.... Circumcised fool, shallow life... If you want to correct, it's no problem don't insult her you know she is always busy... Gerrrrahere
Indeed, they are brave. Look at the well 'body build'. It confirms that swimming is one of the best physical body exercise complemented by intake of fish because those guys are also fisherman and of course, paddling of canoe on regular basis is another exercise on its own. Anyway, I hope the guys will be appreciated although the service was more of humanitarian than commercial. But the authorities MUST NOT politicize anything, please!
If those men were told that their lives would one day be saved by someone they would regard as a "tout"/suffer man, they would never believe it.indeed everyone is important! -paskalachi-
