  10. This man has nothing but praises in the Nigerian Navy. He started his career in 1978 graduating as the Best Cadet amongst the Navy, Army and Airforce of his time. As he grew in the navy with his team he was always recognised as the best until he attained position as Nigerian Navy Number one which is the 19th Chief of Naval Staff of the federal Republic of Nigeria which we all know this is as a result of nothing less than hardwork cos we know its not easy to start and finish well. What others don't know is, this is the dream of every military man, that is to retire as a service chief. After being a service cheif the next thing is retirement cos there is no other level to attain as it is the highest level. Retiring at this level is something they all dream off even if they attain this position for seconds. But to civilians they feel it is a sad thing. All the men you see there are happy and wish they attain that position. Military men see retirement as a thing of joy knowing they served their nation so i think people need to understand that the people you think are sad for retiring on the contrary are happy to even do it. The Navy would never forget you Sir as you are termed the "Brave" and an Icon in the Nigerian Navy.
