Missing co-pilot, Peter Bello confirmed dead, friends mourn him

Such a tragedy. Rescuers this morning recovered the body of the pilot and co-pilot of the ill fated helicopter that crashed into the Lagos Lagoon yesterday. Peter Bello was the co-pilot. Friends have taken to social media to express their grief. Heard he was the only son of his parents. So sad. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. More tweets after the cut...

    I stongly hope he's not the only son cos allowing him to be a pilot was just careless on their part due to the high level of risk. Though I dont know him from Adam and he may have his faults as a person, I dont know why I am affected by his death. Such a young, handsome and brave gentleman.
