Violence is not a solution. But I have to admit I have beaten my son four days ago with a broom stick. I broke his arm almost. My action is beyond wrong I know and I do feel sad and bad about it. But I just couldn't stand him anymore all these lies, stealing from my wallet,in the kitchen. He broke his saving piglet and laid about it. He left the breakfast I gave him get rotten in his bedroom. I was just fed up and I have prayed for forgiveness for my wrong. I just can't left him go the wrong path. If he is stealing home next is in a shop and then. I haven't been the best mother I know but I tried my best talking and four days ago he crossed a line. Sometimes things just happens. There is no excuse for a mother to do this or what I DID.we are all humans with errors and at times we see the bigger picture and if my son goes on like this he will be soon be a juvenile delinquent. Yes I know some will conclude I already did wrong during raising him, maybe, outside he is the most kind child, with A_manners, a very good pupil but at home all these nonsense. He get pocket money 10£/month he is just time, so he can buy what he desires no need to steal money from my wallet IMO. All this can happen, mostly we women find ourselves alone with our kids were the fathers are somewhere. Am a single mom since he was born,the father died. Lagos government should take the custody of the boy and the woman should be severely punished. Some people are out there looking for a child and this woman is busy stabbing the one she has got.
