  8. Correct man! The first step to improve the lot of the civil servants is the salary. Our civil servants are poorer than church rats. It's almost impossible for them to survive on the pittance they receive as salary even with the N18,000 minimum wage without traces of corruption.
I think Buhari needs to look into that as well.

  9. Great leader. Buhari and all the useless apc leaders should learn from the great leader of the Biafra state( Anambra ). I love my governor. Engr Emy

  10. I belive Rochas Okorocha is listing, Anambra state is not an oil producing state and receives no extra kobo and have done all this in the state and is not owing dime to any person but Imo state after the monthly allocations they still collect oil deraivation which Imo state 5th oil state in Nigeria yet there is no development anywhere in Imo, and workers are been owed for three months yet someone will come out shamelessly calling himself the peoples governor,we are doomed.

  42. Good one if the economics of it make sense.
If they have good ways of generating funds in the state...but if they depend majorly on federal allawee esp in dis drop in oil prices then thatz a cataclysmic move to score cheap political points cos it will backfire..
I hope it was well planned..then the people will be happy indeed.

  52. Peter Pann,London.31 July 2015 at 13:50

Kudos to Gov Obiano. He is an accomplished gentleman. However, let me appeal to him to urgently look into the problem of the Staff of Anambra State Water Corporation who are yet to recieve 5 years salaries till date.It is true Obiano facilitated the last part payment to the workers owed by Peter Obi after a court order but Obiano should continue with his soft heartedness and magnanimity. He will never be forgotten by generations to come and the affected families will continue to pray for and wish him well.Afterall these workers are gazetted staff of the state government and are therefore entitled to their salaries and allowances. If the Gov cannot liquidate all,let him start somewhere and God will bless him.I understand that over 300 staff of the Water Board died during Obis administration and look at what Nemesis is doing to him now..Obiano should also try his possible best to restore pipe borne water in major cities of Anambra for him to make a great difference. Thanks my Gov.Thanks Akpokuedike.Hoping to see you in action wiping out the tears of the helpless and starving workers of Water Board.Bye.From Peter Pann,London.

  87. My governor should be reminded that the 60percent conhess he paid to state health workers has not been replicated across board to the LGAs health workers,.mean while,it is their alocation that the state is using to achive result. The state health workers has been enjoying the new increament since jan 2015,uptil now Our governor has ignored our plea through MHWUN anambra chapter.please pay us our dues.Ebonyi state pays 100percent conhess,Abia state 80percent and Imo 80 percent. The 60percent he promised has not been implemented across board.WHY?

  88. Do you know that 70percent of LGA staff has not received their june salaries because of confusion and corruption in (JAC )joint allocation committee.the job is toomuch for a bunch of guys to do.How can those guy handle 21LGAs,all the pensioners in the state, all the ministries and parastatals in the state as well as working out gratuities for retires.Govornor should return the roles to all the appropriate authorities like pension's board for pensioners, payroll officers for LGAs,etc their is alot of irregularities going on that is affecting staff eg cutting of salaries, delibrate omission of staff names from payroll and replacing the latter with their friends for as long as 6months.aboundoning of mails and refusal to treat, including their croonies names in the voucher. The Governor should do something before is too late.the former commissioner for local government said the governor refuse implement the 60 percent conhess for LGA staff
