Is this not abuse of power? This military officer was filmed by a motorist punishing this driver in this manner at CMS, Lagos because he supposedly scratched his car. Na wa! More photos after the cut...

  11. I went to a military secondary school back then and I was given 12 strokes of the cane with a koboko for hitting a military man's side mirror..lol.. but all those made me to be a strong, independent guy that I am now... So, I dont see anything wrong with this.. :)

    5. Ary, two wrongs don't make a right. Everyone, including people in position and power, should obey the law. There is no law in Nigeria that empowers military personnel to frog jump civilians, no matter what they have done. It is just plain indiscipline from the military. That mentality of yours that supports soldiers punishing civilians, is the same mentality thar leads mobs to set "suspects" on fire on the streets. There is no justification for any military or police officer laying hands on a fellow citizen. If you believe that Nigerians require a firm hand, then the law should be applied FIRMLY.

  44. it is really power abuse...i was a victim of of such abuse .i did do anything to the military officer i was receiving a call unknowing to me that he was coming to my direction so i jammed him..the next he ask me to do is to sit on the floor in computer village where crowed of people are.

If the man was to scratch your car he would probably insult you, prostrate with apology or run away and there would be nothing you can do, so, jump jump jump, next time drive careful :-)

Even some low ranked police offices who does not know their rights and want to show power. BTW have u ever boarded buses driven by ex service men? i have and they break traffic rules all the time the last time i boarded one last week the guy dropped passengers where he should not have unfortunately for him some LASTMA guy (not in uniform) seized his keys and took a picture of his plate and instead of the guy to plead he was still forming he is an ex-military or something!i was so happy. nobody should be above the law!!!

I had to plead with some soldiers over the weekend when a carb guy blocked someones vehicle DELIBERATELY.
    I dont know why people cant use common sense to do this... I dare not be a military man... I swear before God and Man...linda you would see more of these.
