  17. In other words, we cannot afford to starve now that APC has taken over. FORWARD EVER, BACKWARD NEVER.

  18. Now you want to run a new PDP that welcomes criticism.. Some people are very bad loosers, strong peeps take a loss, figure out how to get up and move on with their heads held up high, PDP is just embarrassing itself, shame, war within, insults to each other on line, useless party statements and press release, big mouth governors, no togetherness, questionable character in board of trustees, I pray they no longer produce a president, lets see APC continue to rule or maybe Labour step up.

  19. It's high time they take the blame, nobody is responsible for their woes but them.

  20. This is coming rather late. Anyway, wish them what they wish themselves.

  22. There is no country that has a party without opposition. To have a one party state would be a serious mistake that will affect every single one of us. APC WILL STILL BE THE SAME AS PDP IN THE
NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS IF WE ALLOW THEM TO
BECOME ARROGANT. All they are asking for is young
fresh brains with fresh ideas. All you LIB readers that
are interested in politics instead of seating/lying on
your couches and beds criticising should join the party to make a difference. That is how democracy grows.

  23. When i hear comments on this blogsite if feel sorry for Nigeria and our youth but i blame it most on illitracy. How do we have a true democracy without a strong opposition party. You lazy boffons that call yourselves youth should get of your buts and beco.e more actove in governance. We might even have LIB readers become senators in the next elections. "NIGERIANS CALL OBEY" .PDP is giving people interested in politics an opportunity to become active and you guys are here insulting them. NIGERIA!!! NIGERIA!!!NIGERIA!!!. I weep for my country.

    1. M'y friend would u sharap and go and weep for your smelling mouth...opposition came from a force That could be reckoned with and That which stood the test of time not from selfish and wicked gluttons That can only locate their ipads when they loose élection and are trying so hard to still decieve people through cowards like u.
Opposition was strictly technocratic. They worked hand in hand despite différences. They performed in their various states though with challenges bothering on corruption. They where focussed and they achieved their goal by Gods grace.

Shebi na patience goodluck na hin dey abuse buhari during the élections That he would soon die, but now she don confess like winch Say she sick and was always sneaked out of the country for treatment. How deceptive can u be? And dis one is coming here to weep for his (or whatever u are) mother. M'y friend go and pack in d lagoon jare. Oponu oshi. PDP should go for jamb lesson and see if they can sit for another exam come 2019. Before then, they should shut d f**k up.

    2. Anon 1:47am your backwards thinking laced with hatred will get you know where. Every where in the world slur and smear campaign is used in cases where the party spuring out such
hate is desperate. It is common place and not exceptional. Even in these last UK elections Cameron used it and still won. Our backwardness is of our on doing. If the Igbos carried the hate campaign used by the Oba during the gubbernatorial elections to heart, the would have been chaos on the streets of Lagos. When people are overly sentimental and
carry past baggages forware that is when they make such ignorant, stupid and intellectually backwards speeches such as yours. PDP is trying to launder tge image of their party and have asked the chairman and NWC to leave the partt so that fresh tehnocrats and well meaning Nigerians who are interested in moving the county forward come in. With comments like yours i am not surprised that Nigeria is being run by our grand pas and great grand pas and that we leep on recycling our leaders. The youth are too lazy to lead and yet not to lazy to criticise. It is a damn SHAME!!!!

    3. Peter pan you are as daft as your name sounds. Pls read what you wrote and see whether it makes sense. In advanced countries a party can actually clean up. So pls stop talking absolute crap. Your name smells on pognaice!. Watch it out with corrusive soap.

    4. Peter pan or what ever you call yourself. How won't our politicians use hate campaign. The only think we know how to do in this country is heap out loads of insult. We don't know have to give constructive arguements. Our leaders are a product of the people.

    5. Nigerians have short memories. Is it not the same PDP members that make up the APC. eg Amaechi, Okorocha, Tambuwal etc. The list goes on . So because they changed the name of their party they are automatically saints?. We have a long way to go.

    6. Peter pan... The stench of your stupidity is supremely foul. Keep shut boy and learn. Yes..the party has accepted their failure and is seeking youths of intellects(which you clearly are not) to be part of the next phase of the party, that's a step in the right direction.

  24. Oliseh Metuh pls do not mind the stupid commentators on this blog site.
    Must of them are illiterates
There are various places you can advertise and get interested candidates. It might require some hard work but you will get there eventually
Are youth are just very lazy and all they know how to do is criticize without taking any action. It is a pity that the next genetation of Nigerians are not intelligent, dynamic and interested in having a say in the way our country is run. I blame it on poor education and lack of social consciousness.

    1. And which government is responsible for poor education?

      Delete
    2. Distractions today contribute to poor education also. With the advance in technology and several children being computer literate, computer games etc are huge distractions. They are also complaining about this in the United
States. Let's see how APC handles the issue. What people fail to understand is that APC has never ruled us. Let them rule for 4yrs and then we can compare tge 2 parties and make our appraisal.

  30. I wasnt deaf or blind to read or hear when they said PDP will rule for 59 years. Weren't they thinking it would be a one party democracy. Bunch of losers. The only reason these guys are still talking is because they still have few days before the handover. Many of them would be in jail within the next 4 years. I have no sympathy whatsoever for this party. Their demise is my joy. I'd rather see kowa or APGA become an opposition than PDP grow a new poisonous head. A snake is what they are.

  36. What you guys in PDP should do is go to the STUDENT UNIONS in our higher institutions and get students that have passion for their country and " fire in their belly". You should send them to understudy
more advanced democracies eg. Send them on short
educational escortions to eg. CAPITAL HILL in the
USA or HOUSE OF LORDS in the UK. Let them see
how true democracy is practiced so that they know
that being in the opposition is not a bad thing at all
and that you can still be of huge service to your
country while in opposition. Bring them back to Nigeria to understudy our own democracy and let them make recommendations that will help to build up a new PDP. Then unleash them and see what
    happens.

    1. Thank you dear. Students of engineering, IT, political science, sociology, psychology, the brightest from our universities should also be part of the process you propose. When I was a student, I wrote a proposal on rural development process to one of the governors in the country It wasn't as though I wanted to be a part of it or seeking for money. I was just passionate about improving the life's of those in rural areas. Well...The response I got was "you are a child, face your studies". I don't know if it was because I am female or just young. However, I'm happy the party is getting to understand young and intelligent people matters.
