Mr ben is talking too much lately sha.these holier than thou attitude is uncalled for and unnecessary notice me.smh ,why hadn't he been speaking for d past 6yrs?
You see ehn the truth is that NIgerians are the most confused set of people. Has this man done wrong by speaking his mind? has he lied here? At least for once, for one fucking time, we have a senator that's speaking up about the ill of Nigerian politics and governance and people like you of no impact whatsoever are here say talking nonsense. Take time to read and understand and you will do well to understand his point. Well I don't blame you, I blame a fail education system that has breed people like you who are too advanced to be called an ape and to low to be called a human. Rubbish!
Still asking why he never suggested all these to his brother and friend Jonathan, whose convoy is the most expensive in the history of this country. Could recall when Elrufai as the minister of FCT warned public office holders on the number of convoy they should use in Abuja, and the obeyed the instruction. But in this administration, the convoy of the wife of the president is bigger, than that of many African presidents.
Calm down and stop been judgemental, if ur broda was the president and he was messing up. Would u castigate him in front of every1. Am sure u will advice him privately. And if he doesn't listen, damn sure u would mind ur biz. Think b4 u talk... d man muray Bruce is better than a lot of politician and his giving us good propaganda
When did Elrufai ever instruct public office holders on the number of convoys they should use in d FCT? When did u even start knowing what goes on in govt cos I worked with the MFCT before and during Elrufai as a protocol staff, tone down on ur fables Oga ikeji
Ben B the noise maker, well he is making sense sha but I still think he's making noise. Hypocrites always talk sense but their ways are complete opposite. Those convoys should be reduced, convert the money for extra maintenance for something useful, cut down the salaries of our senators sef. Etc too much poverty in Nigeria and our politicians are over chilling. Ben B is actually making a lot of sense. I support him
I have always loved Ben Bruce's way of thinking as regards how governance should be. I'm happy this man got elected a senator, it won't be easy for him, but I hope he walks his talk.
I concur! Even the queen and the prime minister of England use 3 convoys with a motorcycle both in front and at the back. But Mba our common local govt chairman will prefer 10 convoys while our president will prefer to block the whole of third mainland bridge and use 20 convoys. sighh
Guy shut up already. You are an elected official at last. We quite appreciate that you are still basking in the excitement. Please spare us all this holier than thou attitude. we are not really interested. ok.
I don't know about 20 cars but we don't want to be stuck with the problems of kidnapped or assassinated government officials, I cant say what number of cars is right but 3 cars for the senate president is not enough.
Why should any government official be in a 3 car convoy? Why not just 1 car??? Why must the word "convoy" be used? Can they use their personal car? Thieves. SMH
This is the kind of leaders we need, the Man speaks wisdom, no wonder he was able to do great things when he was in NTA and also see all he is doing with Silverbird. Sir, I support u all the way and I am so loving you. for all those calling him names for speaking for Nigerians, its a pity, the Man is already made and is not fighting for any political appointment, he can choose to be quiet and eat the national cake with them as usual but he refused. Lets accept the wind of change that is in the air.
Me,I agree with him! But let's make the cars 5...One for the public official,2 cars for securities,1 for his aides,1 bus for press people that follows them about.
Some of us sayn he is talking too much, y hasnt he been talking. We all know our leaders practice glorified corruption, right under our noses.
Im glad he is stating the obvious, he shld set an example, which i think he is doing, slowly but surely his words like we argue and give our different opinions here, will have an impact in the nearest future.
Dis reminds me of watching a Champion's League match @ a viewing centre-everybody dere 'knows' wat da players and coaches are doing wrong.....Mr Bruce, U will get ur time 2 examplify all dat U ave been yaking. Pray 2 all of da gods(black and white) dat U dont fall short. Dere won't be any amnesia since U've put it in print not word of mouth. All da best!
What is it young pple os this country want? A man has just spoken his mind, not like what he said was wrong and u pple r still criticising him... ah! what will some1 ever do that will please u????
Carry on sir. You're really making common sense but it's sad to know that our people have been brainwashed to the extent that they see corruption as a normal thing even when they're been deprived of their right. I wish our people's eyes will be opened one day.
I am yet to understand this sudden public interest campaign of Ben Bruce. He has done well in entertainment but his recent social media outburst since selection to the senate is smack of self glory. Where are the likes of Smart Adeyemi, Abul Oroh, Adams Oshiomole and other so called social crusaders. They have tasted the forbidden apple and their actions are now anti masses.
Where have you been all these years Mr Ben, Before Fuel turned 150 per litre? Before education system turned something else? All these while, Law makers and govt officials collect monies enough to feed millions of Nigerians for years in just one month? Where, Mr Ben Murray Bruce, Have you been?
yes I agreed with him, last Friday i was in Benin Republic (Cotonou) for vacation with my friends n I saw the first lady of the country with just a driver in her Jeep.. I asked again no form of security or anything..i was told thats how its been since 9years as the husband as been the president..not long i saw the presidents convoy too..just 5 cars with 2 bikes. all public office officials should stop wasting Nigeria funds on whats not necessary.
