I don't understand why INEC won't secure their servers. It means anyone can hack into their servers and manipulate data, including the election results. This so called 'Nigerian cyber army' can alter the election data in favour of their candidate. They ought to be reprimanded before they wreck havoc!
Issue of Information Technological security has been a deciding factor in this country, we have fewer number of ethical hackers in nigeria which goes a long way to saying many sensitive information are being deployed over the Internet but we have zero protection policies in place. The website may be hacked but the most important is the database of the voters - the info on those PVs, which I don't think can't be hacked easily. Seek for knowledge.

The federal Government of Nigeria needs better security in its official website. But all still, well-done to the hackers, they did a great job exposing flaws.

Study your polling unit, and if it's packed with miscreants, thugs and unknown faces, steer clear; remember that your life matters more than the vote 7. Dress responsibly and avoid adorning any political attire, party logos etc. to prevent mistaken identity and possible victimization. Please remember that no campaign is allowed during elections. Avoid wearing politically branded T shirts, caps or bearing handbills, posters, pamphlets and banners of candidates. This can pose as a risk. 8. As part of security arrangements, church halls should be vacated after every church service within 1 hour. Card Readers were apparently failing often at a polling booth near an Accenture staff's home. And the guy couldn't understand why...cos the readers were all new. So he approached the INEC woman. Inspected the reader. Only to find the protective film on the lense of the reader had not been removed. After a protracted argument he convinced the woman to remove it. The reader not only read the prior rejected cards, it was reading with even faster response time. Please share. It could help a lot.
