Cinderella

The nameDisney brings to mind images of fair princesses, charming princes, magical fairy tales, and many happily ever afters. Our good old friends from Walt Disney have decided to bless us with another remake of the renowned romantic movie – Cinderella.

The old fairy tale we all grew up with still has some magic. In this version, Cinderella also known as ‘Ella’ played by Lily James and Prince Charming played by Richard Madden meet PRIOR to the fateful ball. At the time, he tells her he is a palace employee named Kit.

The Fairy Godmother is also a larger character than in previous versions, as she is initially disguised as an old beggar who watches over Cinderella before ultimately revealing herself as a magical being.  And of course, we still have her wicked stepmother Lady Tremaine (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella…ok. No more spoilers.
We can say that 2015’s Cinderella is one of the very best versions yet. It is one movie families can enjoy together and teaches vital values on love, courage and kindness plus it’s also romantic and incredibly funny.
Cinderella, the beautiful movie directed by Kenneth Branagh will hit the cinemas pan-Nigeria this Friday, 13th March 2015.  And as usual you can win free movie tickets on Facebook and Twitter! LIKE our Facebook page:  www.facebook.com/moviebuffng and follow us on Twitter:  @moviebuffng.

I just can't wait to watch this movie again. I remember having the story book back in the early 90's and my desire of having my own prince charming. Today, I thank God that I finally did after so many heartbreaks.

  17. Breaking the glass slipper to ensure the real owner is never revealed is an interesting angle (never been explored) to the story... although the real owner could just present the other leg; I guess nobody ever thought of that. I'm sure there will be other interesting angles explored in this entrée but looking @ the preview, it doesn't look like it will be that interesting... I will still watch it, just to put it under my belt.
