Bomb scare reported at Buhari's campaign rally in Sokoto

The venue of APC presidential campaign rally in Sokoto state has been changed following a reported bomb scare. According to TheCable, the party had earmarked the Sokoto state stadium for its rally but changed it this morning to the Sokoto Trade Fair complex after a man on a motorcycle was arrested with two bombs on him.

  45. Abegi! This APC and their lies, they own the Boko Haram boys,so they plot this drama to attract public sympathy. The man arrested is a member of APC, they all planned the nonsense else if he was truly a Boko Boy he would have bombed them. Buhari owns Boko Haram, they work for him and they have really helped him make GEJ's government ungovernorble as he promised. God judge him!

  49. My dear Linda, the information is wrong (The Cable). The campaign is still ongoing at the stadium and not the Trade fair complex as your source speculated as the Shiite Islamic group are currently having a conference at the same trade fair complex. Mean while, there is no pandemonium at the campaign ground (as i am close to the venue at the moment on an assignment) and all is going on well with tight security...NO BOMB SCARE my sister.

  63. From Vanguard Newspaper 22nd January 2015
Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has expressed disgust over what he described as the level of threat some northerners were facing for not supporting the presidential ambition of the former Head of State, General Muhammadu. According to Lamido, any northerner who is not supporting Buhari was being threatened and seen as an infidel.
Apart from northerners, Vanguard investigations also revealed that most residents, who wear caps depicting them as natives of some southern parts of the country were being molested by street urchins as “infidels.”
Supporters of Buhari view those not supporting him as “infidels”, people don’t be deceived by the hype, OPEN YOUR EYES VERY WELL.
