Photos: Speaker Tambuwal enters National Assembly building unhindered

House of Reps Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, entered the National Assembly Complex this morning Dec. 16th for the first time since the drama at the Assembly ground last month where he and some members of the House were locked out of the building by police.

The House members will be resuming their legislative duties today after they adjourned on Nov. 20th following the fence jumping incident. Another pic after the cut...

  4. Right from the day he was made the speaker, he has proved he's bigger than any PDP political machinations.
    And with the great support he enjoys from both the opposition and the ruling party house members. Removing him will continue to be a wild goose chase.

  29. This is why I like blackberry phones check out BB10, I like it because;
    True multitasking
    Easier navigation between running programs
    Easier management of running programmes
    Expandable memory
    Tim-shifting camera
    Constant ability to monitor incoming massages
    SERIOUSlY cool keyboard
    That keyboard goes somewhat "predictive"
    .
    First of, the keys are much wider than those on iOS, particularly in portrait mode. much easier to type on, even without the new features. Second, the prediction scheme is apparently more adaptive, and pays more attention to the way you write as an individual. Third, the ability to "flick" words into the output is frankly brilliant, and I can confirm it's a game-changer. It's an honest productivity-booster. micheal4rig@gmail.com

  31. Blackberry is a phone i had always admired, i had no money to buy one when i was in school, but thank God i saved money to buy one during my NYSC. From the many advantages it has, here are the few ones;
    1. It's durability; It's a durable phone, it last long.
    2.Very easy to manage, i laugh when my friends complain about the amount they spend on data for their android in a month while some even off their data. With my 1500 i browse conveniently and download as many things as i wants.#My friends can't try that# Their phones has automatically turned them into misers.
    3. My blackberry perform so many task at a time. Common, i don't need to exit an application, all i do is switch to the latest notification, i can access so many application without one disturbing the other.
    4. What about the great messaging aspect of blackberry(BBM) under few seconds i receive people's message and they receive mine, i don't need to open my mouth wide before i gossip about the next person beside me.Can't forget the cool sound that comes with pinging, it's unique, other android phones who claim they also ping don't have that unique sound, theirs make noise like church bell.
    5. One of the things that made me win the heart of my boss is my accessibility to internet even at weekends. I don't have a moderm, but trust me, my boss sends some urgent work to me and with the fast email notification BBM has, i quickly download the document, work on it and sends it back, while my colleagues on the other hand, sometimes don't quickly get to see the notification except my boss calls them, after which they have to log on to yahoo to open their email, and even after that, they complain they can't download cos their data will be exhausted

    ABOUT MY BLACKBERRY

    My Blackberry phone is indeed a great companion, Together we've been through thin and thick, through happy times and sad moments. Even if the world should turn it's back on me, I am confident that my blackberry would never thread that path , because it is more than a phone to me..... My Blackberry is family !!!!

    WHY I LOVE MY BLACKBERRY
    I love my Blackberry phone because it is trendy and user friendly. It gives me the feeling of having the world in my palms and keeps me closer to my friends and family than any other mobile device. I am never scared of losing my phone because my information and data are all protected using my 'blackberry protect' account. The Blackberry phone was created with the future in mind. Blackberry is the future!

    When people ask me what world I live in, I simple say ....'The Blackberry world'. Or how else can you explain having to depend on my blackberry phone for everything; from listening to good music, to sending and receiving emails,to chatting with loved ones on bbm, not forgetting capturing beautiful moments using my high resolution Blackberry phone camera.I love my blackberry phone and have stuck to the brand for more than three years and still cant get enough. Also, my blackberry phone enables me to access Linda Ikeji's blog. lol. I come here for laughs and fun and also to follow up on real life matters. I am both a LIBaddict and a Blackberry addict....

    Long story finally over .lol.

    What if Linda just decides to give me one of this dope BB Passport, chaiiiiii, e go make sense diiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee.

  53. Linda, selection to win the BlackBerry Passport shouldn't be by voting or who your readers think deserves to win it. You said the guys @ BlackBerry will choose the best comment. And here you complain that over 6 thousand comments are too numerous for you to read. Here's an opportunity for you to empower the youth by creating small contract jobs. Get 3 guys who'll work as comment readers for the period of the give away. They have a target to read least 2,000 comments daily (most of which are repetition, 1 sentence or just e-mails). They each submit the best 10 to you. Out of the 30 they submit to you, you pick the best 10 and let the BlackBerry team choose their best 2 for the giveaway. When you announce the winners also publish their winning comments for us to see why they were better than the rest. By so doing you would've empowered 3 guys, you would've been objective in your selection process and those who didn't win will try harder some other time. Regards

  83. Linda, do justice to these names listed below.
    Peoples comment/ nominees on these blog is becoming nuisance. I believe all the people deserve something, it's a research from me to you. And I will keep posting these everyday until you do something about it, the fact that you picked 3 people & leave others is unfair, some names on my list might not be consistent & some might be new commenter (joined middle of these year) but they are all addicted to your blog. These are the names left behind;
    1. Alloy Chikezie

    12. Uche emma
    Some of them are old & consistent, some are old but not consistent while others are new & consistent. They deserve something better like onyx Godwin, Bonario & Ed Dreamz
    I rest my case......

  86. Na lie ooooo!!!!! All you have said but 1 is a LIE!!!!!! The worst phone in the history of blackberry is this blackberry passport! I spent my 140k to buy the phone and trust me, when I say such a terrible waste! The picture quality is shiiiiiiiit! The phone hangs for no good reason, one evening the phone went off and refused to come on! I held unto the power button until my fingers hurt, nothing. I plugged it in to charge still nothing! I just unplugged it went to bed! In the morning I dove for the phone, Hahahaha nothing! I threw this phone on the floor, removed the sim, memory card (note you can't do a battery pull), no hope o! Around 2pm I pressed down on the power button again staring at the phone. Just when I'd given up, the red light came on. The phone is just stupid, useless and unnecessary! As big as a television! There's nothing special or wonderful about it. All of you should stop clamoring for it. I'll take a bold4/bold6 over this rubbish any day, anytime! Waste of money and pocket space.
