Productivity and email communication were always BlackBerry's forte. It was first with push email notifications on the homescreen.

Plus, since business culture was so ingrained in BlackBerry, owning one was an automatic status boost.

I love blackberry and am not ashamed to admit it.
I believe when it come s to wireless communication, nothing beats the simple utility of RIM blackberry smart phone. When apple released the Iphone in 2007, majority of my friends switched to Iphone because of the slick interface and proliferation of applications the phone has because bb couldn't compete when them then. Even with this disadvantages, I still sticked to my BB.
Thank God for BB10, which has a web browser that keeps up with the competition, voice control and many applications. One thing l like about bb is that it is still going to be the gold standard when it comes to productivity and communication on the go. I love blackberry because of its generosity to share the world's leading chatting app called BBM to other android phones, and one thing us that BBM fits in more on blackberry than any other android...ofcourse you can't compare photocopy to original. I love blackberry because of its browsing speed, low cost of subscription and fast results. Many people have criticized bb because they don't understand the value it adds to people who really know what blackberry means, that is why I still prefer my bb9700 than any galaxy, moon or star..
The most amazing thing I like about bb is the red light. It gives me joy when I see it blink, it still reminds me that am connected to people with the world's best phone. Blackberry is a business phone, it is a get things done phone. Among all the phones, blackberry has always been the best, there are so many things to talk about bb, the brightness of the camera, the amazing Querty keyboard, the long lasting battery especially on Bold 9700, its all really amazing. The truth is that blackberry keeps me connected to reality with, I can use twitter, facebook, whatsapp, 2go, mxit, foursquare, so many amazing applications and the most important one: the world's leading chatting application, BBM-this is my greatest Joy.
I will always go for the best, and the best is blackberry. Blackberry my pride, my smartphone.

the world may have gone viral with the use of Android phones and iphones, but i can say categorically that blackberry devices still stand out.
Starting with the keyboards, it makes texting super easy! chat freaks like me can make do of it at any time and the predictive text and auto correct makes it a whole lot better. With this i can eat and type at the same time without stress.Thats enough fun for me already.
The fact that my blackberry can be used whenever i travel out of the country makes me love it more.
And then with the HDMI-out port, i can easily connect my device to any tv and watch any HD video. Thats quite exclusive.
Also the expandable storage keeps me downloading as much movies and files as i can without been bothered.
The best part of it is that blackberry 10 now runs android apps even with a better quality.
The blackberry hub shows all my notifications and messages in a single place and i can easily access it.
Blackberry devices are also very durable. My curve 3 has lasted for years now and i just had to pass it on to my brother since its still in a good condition.
To an extent, i have had a feel of every device and there is just no way i wont recommend a blackberry device due to the fact that they improve on every new product.Keep up the good work!!! winning this blackberry passport would be the best xmas gift ever.daisyxx15@yahoo.com

Mobile phones from blackberry are very exquisite. They come in different forms and their prices are comfortable for users. I love the blackberry because, blackberry phones take into consideration what matters most to customers which include: security, it gives me the ability to use its multi capabilities functions in terms of applications that make day-to-day work easier, and also, blackberry offers the best internet subscription software: BIS. This compared to others is very reliable and can be easily subscribed to. Thank you

The heart and soul of BlackBerry 10 is the BlackBerry Hub, and it's a standout feature. The BlackBerry Hub shows all of your messages and notifications in a single place. And you can easily access it, when you're using a specific application or while you're navigating home screens, by sliding your thumb up from the bottom of the display and then to the right, to pull the active page to the side and "peek" at your Hub

I'm technology enthusiast but never saw the blackberry as a device I needed to own. The fact that every Tom, Dick and Mariah was getting one further put me away.

I have since been looking for a technology product that can give me something better than what the Bolds and Curves give, but never found one. Though not aestheically pleasing as the Samsungs and iPhones, the email integration and security features make the blackberry a very unique product.

However, following the recent release of the BlackBerry Passport, I have now found a device that satisfies this thirst of mine. The phone is a phenomenon I must say. I watched the product launch and immediately fell in love with it. The design, build, software, interface, form factor, functionality and size make it a must have. The price, though worth every naira makes the phone of my dreams only a dream due to pressing and urgent personal concerns.

I would really love if Blackberry can make my already awesome year really special by giving me this phone. It's a piece of technology I have a sentimental attachment to.

Thank you Linda for this opportunity and thank you Blackberry for an awesome product. Cheers.

About Blackberry: my love for the Blackberry phones started with the blackberry storm
1- the blinking red notifications makes it number one choice for any professional on the go: especially someone working, who doesn't want to be distracted by the tones- just looking at my phone, I know if I have any message to attend to!! Voila

2- the BBM : I know many folks claim this ain't special but why else will android phones opt for this app if not for its 'specialness'? It allows you chat easily, I know when my messages are delivered and read, my voice note is clear and easy to use: I don't have to record on the phone first, and most importantly, I can send documents!! I mean.. no other phone gave me a app that can send documents.

Finally for me : the integral blackberry HUB on my bb10. I now have the sauveness of android and ios phones yet with a nice blackberry touch. Help me with all my important messages on the go!!! No one does it better jawe!!

Thanks for this guys

the world may have gone viral with the use of Android phones and iphones, but i can say categorically that blackberry devices still stand out.

BlackBerry can be a definite asset, if you want to exchange messages with other Blackberry users. With it, you can:
Carry on a real-time conversation with friends and colleagues in several different locations -- or carry on several conversations simultaneously.
Chat with a group.
Send and receive an unlimited number of messages worldwide for free with no per-message charge.
Get messages without filling up your inbox.
Know whether a buddy is online, available or busy.
Let your contacts know your own availability for instant messaging.
Manage log-in and contacts as you would if you were using an IM program from your PC.
Continue using other programs and send and receive e-mails while BlackBerry Messenger is running.
Invite someone to join your buddy list and start communicating without setting up a separate IM account.
Be notified by a specific ringtone or vibration setting each time a message arrives from a particular person.peaceobetoh@gmail.com

BlackBerry Passport's screen size will make it ideal for looking at everything from schematics to x-rays, word documents and spreadsheets. Of course it's also going to make the handset ideal for web-browsing

The Passport will run the BB 10.3 operating system. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM, specifications which are comparable to phablets in Samsung's Galaxy Note range.

Internal memory is shaping up to be 32GB with space to expand this with a micro SD card slot (up to 64GB).

Battery life

The Passport packs a large 3450mAh battery life, and BlackBerry is touting a battery life of around 30 hours for power users that browse the web, take calls and access multimedia content using the device.

Whilst testing out a pre-production device, blackberrypassport handset retained 15 per cent battery life after 16 hours of usage.

Early impressions

So far the blackberry passport has been the only publication to get extended time with the Passport. Although it looks like it could take users a while to get used to the unique design and keyboard, conclusions have been positive.

“It fits in dress shirt pockets and you can hold it with one hand. You just need two hands to use it. The battery lasts forever and the screen is a breath of fresh air for the 'cramped' Q10 users,” CrackBerry noted.

“The phone (if we can call it that) is meant for executives and serious businessmen who will now do more on their BlackBerry smartphones.”

With BlackBerry managing to retain customers in the enterprise market, the release of a truly big screen device is likely to be welcomed by those who still crave a physical keyboard.

Apps

Blackberry Passport 10.3 users will have access to software offered by the Amazon App Store, to broaden the range of services at their fingertips.

this means users should have access to "hundreds of thousands" of additional apps, including consumer offerings such as Minecraft, Pinterest and Cut The Rope 2.

Meanwhile, they'll also be given the chance to download one free, and upload article in cloud

I use a 9790 and this are the things i love about my blackberry phone.
* I love its qwerty keypad, it makes typing extremely easy and fast
*its trackpad thats one of the best navigation tool ever
*I love that it also has touchscreen so its very easy to navigate without the trackpad
*its very cheap to use, for as low as N1000 a month you can keep in touch with friends and download lots of data.
* I use my as a portable hotspot for my laptop nd the connectivity is very fast.
* i got into the selfie craze with my 5mp camera nd it does the work efficiently

I don't own a bb10 phone but been opportuned to use my friends at different occasion.
*First thing i noticed and love about it is the predictive input so tying is extremely fast.
* my friend could sync his itunes to his phone
*he could run a hots of android apps admist tons of bb app
*his screen could do several things at a time
*i like that they have front facing camera's, it will sure make selfie taking very easy...
*my friend runs a fashion account on Instagram and a blog, i have never seen him with a laptop so he does all that from his blackberry.
*lastly is HDMI cable, everytime we download a movie we just plug straight to our tv and boom its go time.
BlackBerry rocks... and i need that passport my 9790 is tired but i can't let it go without replacement. ..

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT BLACKBERRY... 1. Blackberry can be used on almost every carrier in the world. 2. Blackberry is available in five form factors – small keyboard, large keyboard, no keyboard, flip phone, and candy-bar. 3. Most Blackberries have keyboards, so you can actually type fast and with no errors. Helps while driving, walking, carrying something in your other hand – all the time. 4. Blackberry uses standardised (=inexpensive and available everywhere in the world) MicroUSB connector for synchronization/charging. 5. Blackberry has expandable memory. 6. Blackberry has removable and expandable battery. 7. Blackberry allows programs to multitask. 8. The newest Blackberry screen resolution is 480x360. 9. Blackberry allows communicating peer-to-peer via PIN identifier, circumventing the email system. 10. Skype (NASDAQ:EBAY) on the Blackberry? Yes, from anywhere to anywhere. 11. All major instant messengers are available on Blackberry.
12. Blackberry is available with multiple browsers from multiple suppliers. Uwagbale A. Oriaifo... oriaifo@gmail.com

There are things about BlackBerry that simply doesn’t let its hard core fans and users like me down,When it comes to technology, Android and iOS devices are at the top of the food chain. So, does that mean BlackBerry is being completely outclassed OR out of the limelight definitely not infact blantantly NEVER!!
Permit me to outlist the reasons i like my BB Gadgets in formal details...
1). Great Keyboards – BlackBerry keyboards are pretty flexible and of great help for fast texting without errors. The keyboards feel way better than touch type. It’s like, you can carry grocery in one hand and text on the other, Amazing huh?
2). Variety in Styles – Frankly speaking, one gets bored of the same old block style. Be it the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the iPhone 5, it’s the same style. With BlackBerry however, you have several unique form factors to choose from – Full QWERTY (Bold/Curve), QWERTY Slider (Torch 9800/9810), Full Touchscreen (Torch 9850/9860 and Z3/Z10), Suretype (Pearl 3G) and QWERTY Flip (Pearl Flip). A style for everyone, all exclusively from BB smart world of possibilities..
3). Can Be Used Anywhere – An unlocked BlackBerry can be used on almost any carrier around the world, so you are not limited to a few specific carriers.
4). Easy Charging – All new BlackBerry phones use a standardize Micro-USB connector for charging and synchronization both for extracting files and sending...
5). International Roaming – Because BlackBerry supports international carriers, international roaming is not an issue. However, am careful with this as the roaming charges from my carrier might be a little challenging.
6). Unlimited Wi-Fi Calling – If the BlackBerry runs on T-Mobile USA, it offers unlimited Wi-Fi calling from any corner of the world. WOW!!!! Thought you would shout this one out.......
7). Expandable Memory – Fit in as many gigabytes as you want! With flexible memory card options, you don’t have to be limited to phone sets that have a set amount of internal memory.
8). Smooth Multitasking – Oh yes. You can browse and answer messages at the same time. Multi-tasking is smooth and flexible in the Blackberry.yummmy right?
9). BlackBerry Messenger – Before WhatsApp, Viber, and all the other new messaging applications arrived the BlackBerry Messenger was king. Many of its features were copied by its competitors and it is still the most secured messaging app on the market. Best of all, it’s FREE!!!
10. Security – There is no debating this one. BlackBerry makes the highest secured mobile phones in the world. There is a reason why the White House uses them and does not allow the President to switch even though he insist on ditching his Blackberry. Am sure most of us dont know this one LOL
11. Email – Simply put, none of BlackBerry’s competitors have been able to match the effectiveness of Blackberry’s distinguished email system.
14. Relatively Inexpensive – The latest BlackBerry can be purchased for at a a very low affordable price tagged from the company’s website. This is at incomparably cheaper than even the least expensive iPhone 5s or Galaxy S4 or Note.
15. Battery Life – Even though battery life differs with each specific BlackBerry phone, in general the average battery life of a BlackBerry cell phone is superior to that of its rivals.
16. Screen Share – Don’t limit yourself to calling and texting. Share your screen with anyone you wish through the BBM app.
17.BBM Social – If you are a developer, the BBM Social Platform API will provide you with access to the social features and functionality of the BlackBerry Messenger, all from within your app.
18.Peek-a-Boo – Newer BlackBerry smartphones allow you to sneak a peek at your latest notifications and messages without the need to switch or exit the current app you are using.
Thanks #JAHBLESS
