Governor Jang chairs NGF meeting with 16 governors in attendance

Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang today chaired a meeting of the factionalized Nigeria's Governors' Forum with only sixteen state governors in attendance.

Where are the remaining governors? Oh, they are having their own meeting with the other NGF chairman, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State

How disorganized can our leaders be tho? This is so sad! Photos courtesy Sahara Reporters.

  15. Do these clowns know the meaning of democracy? It pains me that with all our exposure and education, all we can do when put in positions of leadership is to steal our resources and virtues instead of building lasting legacies.Even the Primary 5 child knows that Jang is the hand of Jonathan within the Governors' Forum, and Akpabio is the willing tool. If only the fools know that the NGF has been castrated entirely, and the Goverors can hardly walk straight now in front the public.Jonathan WILL NOT win in 2015,and even the pro-Jang Governors knoe this. Nigerians can ghardly wait for 2015, then they will know we are not fools, INEC willing.

  38. Why is there a Nigerian Governors' Forum? Surely these state governors have enough problems of their own? At least Rotimi Amaechi seems to be working very hard in Rivers and it seems that the powers that be at PDP would rather get rid of him for challenging their laziness!

  40. How can heavy addult men behave like dat, that is an insult to nigeria, what are they teaching us the young ones.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don't agree with you Linda. You hardly have a full house whenever the NGF meets. The day Ameachi was selected to be Chairman of the Forum for instance, only nine governors were in attendance. It has always been like that. The only time you have a full house of the NGF is when issues bordering on allocation eg excess crude account are on the table. The day 35 governors converged to elect a new chairman was another exceptional day and we all know why. POLITICS. Ordinarily, an average of ten governors attend the NGF meetings. Some send their deputies or even Secretary to Govt. If 16 governors attend this meeting, it is indeed a full house- at least they have a quorum. Let Amaechi call his own factional meeting and let us see how it goes. Generally, I see what is happening as good for Nigeria. The NGF has long become the kingmaker in PDP/Nigeria. The President must dance to their tune or else they arm twist him. When the President removed oil subsidy, the NGF supported him against the people. What is the use of the Forum if not for the selfish interest of the governors? The earlier it loses it's unconstitutional power, the better. We are not benefiting anything from the body.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Why are they holding meetings and creating factions when clearly Jang did not win....anyway why should we bother after all when they share the money they do not call us...

    ReplyDelete
  43. All these children should be ashamed of themselves, their families should be ashamed of them, and their states... well, we were never proud of them in the first place. When did the position of "chairman of Governors' forum" become so lucrative? Just shows they never discuss anything that benefits the citizens. #look at their faces. Shameless illiterates. #so sad

  44. These 16 old fools have no sense of shame whatsoever. With retards like these ones parading themselves as Governors, its no wonder that Nigeria remains perpetually underdeveloped. What example are they setting for young people that look up to them. They do not know and do not care about genuine democracy. This so horrid.

  53. My opinion is that the so called NGF cannot be said to be a democratic institution and I don't believe its recognised by our constitution. Now they are trying to use this rubbish to cause confusion in the land. Pls our governors shud concern with more pressing issues in their home states and stop displaying their sycophancy cos for me, that's all it is. Very brazen sycophancy!BTW tomorrow is my birthday. Let's be wise and allow the dead to buried their dead. they do not mean well for us. they are just selfish. they think only about themselves and their families.

  71. These are the faces of SHAME in Nigeria. I am not surprised as the roll-call is complete. My only worry is Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, who I thought to be a highly principled person. He has proven that he is truly a "weak link" in the South West. PITY! PITY!! PITY!!!

  72. Now to Jonah Jang... A governor whose people are being slaughtered every minute by the Hausa-Fulani hegemony. I have never really seen any firm action or reaction on your path to address the security challenges in your domain.

I have never seen you as a man with the love of God. I have observed your career over the years and have come to the conclusion that you are just an ugly and opportunistic crook.

But relax... Your own time will come. Trust God. He never fails to pay retribution either to YOU or YOUR SEEDS after you.
