NY Giants Osi Umenyiora and Miss Universe Leila Lopes engaged

 
NY Giants Defensive End Osi Umenyiora, 31, and Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes, 26, are engaged after only five months of dating. The Nigerian NFL player proposed to his Angolan girlfriend on Tuesday 12th February while holidaying together in Europe.

Osi and Leila met in September 2012 at New York Fashion Week. That was fast. But you know what they say; when a man knows, he knows. Congrats to them. See more photos after the cut...

    Abeg folks trying to state how long they should have dated before getting engaged, make we hear word!
    My hubby and I dated 2 mths before getting engaged and we've been married for a few years now, and having an amazing time. You see God was in it from the get go, and truly when a man is ready and knows, he knows.

    See people trying to take matters into their own hands, if God gives you go ahead in 2, 3, 4, 5 mths, then move forward. dont be sitting there looking at clock because it has to be 6mths abi 1 yr. You can easily miss out on God's blessings, and thats for both men or women.

    Osi is almost 32, he has a son. Never mind that he's an NFL star, he is very much Nigerian, an Ogbunike boy, his dad is the Igwe there.
