You all heard her engagement will hold today May 26th...but what you all didn't know is that her church wedding will also hold today. The initial report was December, but very a reliable source told me Funke will official wed Kenny Almaroof at a church wedding and engagement ceremony that will hold today at All Season Plaza Ikeja. And contrary to reports she's spending 25m for her wedding, the actress laughed it off when contacted, saying if she had 25m, she would rather buy land than spend it on a wedding.

76 year old Arch-Bishop of Lagos, Cardinal Olubunmi Okogie, has retired. Pope Benedict (XVI) yesterday appointed former Bishop of the Diocese of Abeokuta, Bishop Alfred Adewale Martins as the new Arch-Bishop of Lagos.

The grand finale of the popular youth football tournament in the country, Copa CocaCola Lagos will climax this weekend, Sunday 27th at the famous Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos from noon but it won’t be all about football as Davido, MI, Brymo and other top DJs, DJ Top and DJ Kess will thrill the fans at the event.

Meanwhile, I heard that Mrs Zuckerberg has no claim to one kobo of Mark's $20b. He married her just one day after he raked in $20 billion after taking Facebook public. Under California Law if one person builds a business and sells it immediately before being married the spouse has no legal claim to the proceeds of the sale. Priscilla as Mark's wife now has 50% interest in any proceeds earned from the growth of Facebook since they got married last week Saturday May 19th. And Facebook's stock is not doing very well now! *sigh*

My colleague sucks..yes!!! Big time. She has sooooo many nasty habits I cannot even "begin to start" counting..
A) she begs-anything u chop, she must wan chop even if na kuli-kuli and she does it unashamedly. Everyone has noticed but no one wants to say anything..its horrible. She even stares at your food till you lose appetite for it. The one I hate pass, you put your drink on the table she picks it up and gulps sticking her tongue into the bottle*rme*
B) she sneezes , coughs, blows her nose, talks loudly (can't control her pitch),chews like ......
All these and so many more.
No one wants to correct her but they don't suffer as much as I do..I sit close to her and I cannot move for now..I can't even concentrate. How do I address this without coming across as rude? Thanks.

South Korea set for first chemical castration of serial rapist

South Korea is getting ready to chemically castrate a serial rapist, a 45-year-old offender identified only as Park, who was convicted of four rapes or attempted rapes on children under the age of 13.

This is the first time the country will employ the punishment under legislation passed in 2010, Korean media reported yesterday. The legislation is intended for use against sexual deviants who are believed to likely re-offend.

Truck driver sent to jail for obstructing Gov Fashola's convoy

A truck driver, David Abiodun, 31, has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly obstructing the motorcade of Governor Babatunde Fashola on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

While being arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court on a five-count charge of dangerous and reckless driving, the police alleged that Abiodun used his Mack truck to block an entire lane on the expressway for unjustifiable reasons and in the process prevented Fashola and his convoy from having easy passage to their destination.

Woman Cuts Husband's Manhood For Demanding Too Much Sex

A 28 year-old woman, Janet Uduak, has been dragged to a customary court in Lagos by her husband, Kolawole Richard, for using a kitchen knife to slice his manhood when he attempted to sleep with her.

Janet, a mother of one, allegedly carried out the act because her husband demanded for sex against her wish.
The incident, which happened at 19, Jagun Street, Okokomaiko, on the outskirts of Lagos, got Richard seriously injured, causing him to lose his ability to have erection.

Delta State Commissioner threatens to sue Sahara Reporters for N1b

The Delta State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr Misan Kubeyinje, has threatened to sue online news website Sahara Reporters, for N1billion for an alleged false story.

The story titled - Delta Commissioner in Open Confrontation With His SA Over N1Billion Agriculture Loan - was published on May 12th 2012 and the commissioner's lawyer has asked Sahara Reporters to retract the publication and apologize within 7 days, or he face a N1 billion lawsuit.
