Dj Abass Today i'd like to commend these young hardworking sisters - Lil & Viv - for their steadfast and relentless commitment to what they believe in. I've known them for a few years and have come to appreciate the colour and vibrance they bring to any entertainment project they have been a part of.
I was horrified to read negative comments about them from faceless and anonymous responders based on pictures of them posted in a Nigerian blog (www.lindaikeji.blogspot.com). I'd be a hypocrite to keep quiet and watch their image sullied by people who don't know the first thing about them.
Lil & Viv inspire me as 2 people who have taken control of their young lives and have a sense of direction. I've put this up just to let you know you continue to have my support and the support of your friends and fans out there. Go girls!!!
Just saw a comment on fb about this blog... Guys, Lil' and Viv' have made effort and sometimes supported so well in the industry. I'm a known designer here in the UK and as they rock the promo tees you can see that its not only the looks but also their friendliness, their support and well structured and professional stance they bring to any stage that makes them stylish and more. Their eye for colour and style is unique, quality that some of us might not have. They've supported our artistes over the years, and those good artistes are all we look up to till today in a major way. God knows I speak from a professional standpoint.
Wrong choice of hair, but we all get it wrong sometimes, these girls have the courage to take fashion to the next level, and sometimes they might get it wrong, and so do Hollywood a listers. There are much better pictures of them, and they look good in person. Lil and viv, keep doing what you doing girl, people will hate, but that's a lil price you have to pay for success....

I think they are Affrican Beauties! Why all this negativity? If a White person had said they're ugly, we would call them racist. What makes us any different. Lil and viv are people I know very well.. We attended the same sixth form. It is easy for anyone to come and judge them, but trust me you have no idea of what they have been through. They are very strong ladies and nice too. Their dressing maybe a little over the top but it is down to individual preferences. They owe no one an explanation of how they chose to dress. I love them, and just like any other human they are not perfect. So if you really feel offended about who they are, pray for them or simply deal with it!

ReplyDeletePeople need to chill. Beauty like style is in the eye of the beholder. No one here is talking about their accomplishments, they can accomplish everything possible and still look ugly and unstylish.

first and foremost all of u who have comented, both those who claim to know dem and those who dont , dont know wat ur talking about. these twins live in my small town called Reading. nobody knows dem for anything good and are bad news within the small nigerian community in reading. they dont work , hang out in every corner of reading and shop mostly for reduced items in the already cheap primark store. this has nothing to do with hate, as dey are just a clear definition of wannabes. they promote nothing, haw no jobs(except for one of their other sister who is hardworking) so i wonder how pple define hardwork. Linda u need to publish is cos dis is an authetic info. they shld stop lieing about being promoters in london and naija cos no one knows shit about dem. even that richard onitolo who said he is. known designer, is probably one of their crew. he should stop blowing his trumpet cos he is d most unknown roadside obioma tailor in a corner of pekham. funny how pple come out and claim wat they are noy cos pple back home dont see dem. thanks y'all

ReplyDeleteLil and viv are people I know very well.. We attended the same sixth form. It is easy for anyone to come and judge them, but trust me you have no idea of what they have been through. They are very strong ladies and nice too. Their dressing maybe a little over the top but it is down to individual preferences. They owe no one an explanation of how they chose to dress. I love them, and just like any other human they are not perfect. So if you really feel offended about who they are, pray for them or simply deal with it!
