Oby Edozien's new husband, Alex O, is a married man?

 
When asked if her new husband, popular 90's singer Alex O had another wife apart from her, actress and producer, Oby Edozien replied: "Alex has only one wife in this world, and she's Oby Gold".

But 1976ad.com is reporting that Alex O is married to a South African lady by the name Fathima. (pictured with him on their wedding day above). According to the report, Alex met Fathima in Singapore while she was working and he was looking for an opportunity to better his life. They got married in Singapore on the 7th of November 2001 and have a 3 year old child.

To show you the extent of Alex’s deception, he left their matrimonial home in South Africa on the pretext of going to Nigeria to establish his business and make arrangements for a US visa – imagine her surprise when she read on the internet that her husband and father of her child  had gotten married to another woman!
According to our sources, he has lived off her all these years, even selling her car and keeping the money. Apparently, it was she who funded his trip to Nigeria – adding further salt to a festering wound.
In Fathima’s words, Alex is a  ”TWO TIMING CHEATER…LOVING OLD SAD NIGERIAN WOMEN WHO NEED A MAN AND HAVE LOTS OF MONEY!!” (sic)

    It happens most of the time. Some men have 2 wives, one in Nigeria or Africa or even Asia and the other abroad (western country) while some women also have 2 husbands too.

    Na condition bend crayfish, people are looking for greener pasture but there is no greener pasture anywhere nowadays. Economic crisis is the other of the day while our leader are looting the ones we have.

The fact of the matter is that he was a broke-ass looking to stabilize his immigration status thus marrying that South African woman and continued in his deception by playing happy families until he got what he wanted, ultimately he secretly wanted a nigerian wife so when he got what he wanted from South Africa he flew to Naija. Well he has to divorce that SA woman so that he can be free of her! The games JJC's play when they travel abroad! The only way to settle is to have fake marriages, or if they are brave enough marry 'whites' its very common here in London and the sad thing about it is when you see a naija man with a white woman you know why....lol!

    All the people shouting polygamy is legal in Nigeria should please try and enlighten themselves. Polygamy is only legal when the marriages are done according to customary law. You can't contract multiple marriages in the registry abeg. Besides the man IS still married to his wife in South Africa. Till a divorce is FINALIZED, you CANNOT contract another valid marriage. It makes you a bigamist. Oby had no idea he was still married.
