Hi Linda thanks for your great work with this site. I must say that I notice that almost each week there is a post about yet another celebrity buying a new luxury car. I would normally rejoice with these people as well, save that by doing so I would be sending out a very wrong signal to young Nigerians...that buying a luxury car is an achievement worthy of celebration. It is not. First a car is not a real asset, it is a liability; the minute you drive out of the car shop the value of the car drops. Secondly, as a public figure with such high readership, may I suggest that you de-emphasize these posts and focus on emphasizing the truly noble achievements. A car is neither a true symbol of wealth or of achievement. You never know which young life you will lead from the path of vanity back to the path of appreciating true value. Thanks.
