Ok, so is this a better look? I went and did what some of you suggested. (See, I listen...lol). It's the Rihanna or Keri Hilson hairstyle...or something that looks like it. And then I fixed those eyelashes...that's been making me so uncomfortable...I'm taking it out immediately after my date tomorrow. Did I say date? lol, just kidding. And then I fixed my nails and actually had a pedicure...(You guys are influencing me on this blog...but I like it...:-)).

ReplyDeleteYou shouldn't worry about comments... People say things on the internet that they would never have the guts to repeat in person. It's one of the disadvantages of the web, to be honest. You always look graceful and unpretentious. I guess people appreciate the fake more than the real sometimes. It's just the way it is... Someone on Bella Naija actually commented saying some lady should invest in a weave, just cos she war rocking her natural hair... It's sad.

ReplyDeletethe nails-GREAT; lashes-AMAZING. the hair.......well, i'm not kinda feeling though. i seems to have a mind of its own....like its flying at the other side and the trimming wasn't well done. i prefer the braids and the other long hairstyles. though this hair if done properly with the trimming and stuff in place will be great because it really frames your face, make you look way younger(not that i'm saying you're old or anything) and prettier.

Very nice Linda. I was the one who said i have a high forehead and would not have my braids the way you had yours in the photoshoot pictures. I also said you should try more side parting & centre parting. In this picture your head looks proportional to your body because you have masked the forehead. You may need to work on your eyebrows too. Try and arch them to follow the shape of your eyes. False lashes are not an everyday thing. Only fix them when you have a function. It's very easy to get boils if you do them quite often. All in all, you are still a beauty. We learn from you & you learn from us. I love your spirit!!
